Previously long-term unemployed people from the local area are placed in to work on Groundcare projects, giving them the opportunity to gain skills from working to improve their local environment.
Since its launch, Groundcare has worked with a variety of organisations from community groups and educational establishments - to local authorities and private clients. Their work has included environmental improvements to large industrial estates, public parks, school playgrounds, town centres and streetscapes.
